When writing this review initially, there wasn’t that much to say about MyBookie.ag regarding positives. However, that has changed. While they do have some question marks and a short history in the industry – so far, they have been above-average, especially considering their large deposit bonuses and number of markets.
They can be competitive in offshore betting markets if they continue to expand and improve their product. This also means hitting their timeframes when it comes to payment processing with little delays. The sportsbook doesn’t lack options when it comes to deposits and withdrawals, which is big plus by itself.
Their rating at SBR has risen to a C and we’ve upgraded our own ratings to give them a 4.5/5. From our understanding, the shop operation is on the up and up. They’re not elite right now, but they may be a top five option in a few years if things keep up.
There have been slow-play complaints so far as well, and our interactions with support haven’t been great. Sportsbook Review upgraded their rating in June 2015 to a C- from a D+, citing that they had only one complaint so far and that it was resolved.
Anytime a sportsbook is new in the industry (they’ve been in business only since 2014) – there is going to be more risk. Longevity is important in this industry and along with that comes trust. MyBookie only being around a few years just makes them a little less safe than other sportsbooks that are more established and have been around for 10+ years or longer. They look to be turning into a strong operator and U.S. online betting markets are always looking for more options.
The deposit comes with a 15x rollover which takes a lot of value out of the bonus. However, MyBookie does offer a lot of markets and competitive odds. There are a lot of excellent places to find +EV spots.
An average Payout Processing Time, the need to gain a better reputation as well as varied Interface and Betting Markets
All of their payout methods have a two day processing time according to the time frames listed on their cashier page. Based on some of the complaints we’ve read online, we highly doubt they are hitting these without issues. However, payouts are going out and within two weeks players receive payment in almost all cases via all withdrawal methods. Those aren’t elite speeds, but are in the upper tier of online sportsbooks servicing Americans.
MyBookie.ag may have a questionable history and has only been in the industry a short time, but they are turning into a viable option for Americans in offshore betting markets. They’ve had a few complaints, but all found solutions in a timely matter, and all players paid in full. They have excellent software, and their list of markets is large. They also offer one of the most generous bonuses in online sports betting, a 50% Deposit Bonus up to $3,000.
As far as backend and software, MyBookie has done an excellent job. Their betting platform upgraded since our last review and it is some of the best software online. They may have the best interface out of any US-facing sportsbook. Placing straight wagers and choosing a few selections for multiple bets is a painless process. The software is extremely user-friendly.
The sportsbook focus on North American and US markets. They offer little on foreign sports. They do offer some wagering on the English Premier League and La Liga soccer. This pairs up with the MLS and international contests. Most of their markets will be centered on the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and both college football and basketball. However, they do offer other sports, such as arena football, WNBA, golf, tennis, boxing & mixed martial arts.
They also have entertainment and politics as a betting option. Aside from traditional parlays and teasers, MyBookie.ag had round robins and if-bets and reverses. They also have a relatively extensive list of futures for each of the major professional sports in the US. Live betting is available for select NBA, MLB and NHL games.
They post lines quickly and offer fairly decent odds on the markets we’ve seen. There are many propositions and markets surrounding each contest for major sports. However, as mentioned above, there are other sportsbooks with similar markets with better odds that are also a lot more established and trustworthy.
